Hi, I’m Saul. As someone suffering from – no, as someone loving severe autism, I can only say a few words and cannot communicate through speech, or any other means for that matter. I cannot write…but somehow I can eloquently type up a blog. Why do I love being autistic? A few reasons really:
1. I haven’t got a worry in the world. Ignorance is bliss.
2. I can do whatever the hell I want and no one can do shit about it. One of the best perks of being mentally handicapped.
3. Someone else wipes my ass for me.
This blog is called “The Odd Couple” because my mother and I are co-dependent. She has an eating disorder, irrational and mindboggling fears, OCD and a whole bunch of other stuff that makes her craaaazy. Is there a pairing odder than us? I doubt it.
